The Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) in Knitwear Design is a specialized undergraduate program focusing on the creative and technical aspects of designing knitted apparel, including sportswear and lingerie. This four-year course aims to develop professionals equipped to meet the unique challenges of the knitwear industry. Key Features: ? Duration: 4 years, divided into eight semesters. ? Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board. ? Curriculum: The program offers a comprehensive range of subjects, including: Design Concepts, Fashion Illustration, Knitwear Technology, Pattern Making and Garment Construction, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Textile Science, Trend Analysis and Forecasting, & Merchandising and Marketing ? Students engage in practical experiences through workshops, internships, and industry projects to gain hands-on knowledge. Course Instructors

Educational Qualification: Completion of higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized board in any stream.
Age Limit: Candidates should be less than 24 years of age as on 1st August of the year of admission. There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PWD) categories.
Entrance Examination: Qualification in national-level entrance exams such as the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) or institution-specific exams conducted by design schools.
