Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board. ? Curriculum: The program encompasses a comprehensive range of subjects, including: Fashion Illustration, Leather Processing, Pattern Making and Construction, Surface Techniques, Computer Applications in Design, Retailing and Design Projects, & Product Realization Concepts ? Students engage in practical experiences such as field studies, industry internships, and workshops to gain hands-on knowledge. Career Opportunities: Graduates of the B.Des. in Leather Design program can pursue various roles within the fashion and leather industries, such as: ? Leather Apparel Designer: Creating innovative clothing designs using leather materials. ? Accessory Designer: Designing leather accessories like bags, belts, and wallets. ? Footwear Designer: Developing stylish and functional leather footwear. ? Product Developer: Overseeing the creation of leather goods from concept to production. ? Course Instructors

  • Educational Qualification: Completion of higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized board in any stream.
  • Age Limit: Candidates should be less than 24 years of age as on 1st August of the year of admission. There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PWD) categories.
  • Entrance Examination: Qualification in national-level entrance exams such as the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) or institution-specific exams conducted by design schools.
